The Daily Mini Crossword Was Tricky. Here’s Why.

You know when a puzzle fights you?
June 17 did exactly that. It wasn’t malicious. Just stubborn.
Specifically, 6-Across. And 2-Down.
I stared at the grid for a full minute wondering if I had lost my mind or just my ability to read geography posters.
It turns out I was just slow.

The New York Times Mini Crossword changes fast.
If you want answers for Wordle, Strands, or the increasingly chaotic Connections Sports Edition, CNET’s hints page covers those. But we are here for the Mini. The bite-sized frustration.
